More than 10 years of clinical experience in physical and mental health.
Occupational Therapy Services
I help individuals achieve occupational balance in their life roles in the face of physical, mental, and chronic health conditions such as depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, burnout, post concussion syndrome, chronic pain, and fatigue.
Occupational Therapy Services
IN YOUR HOME, WORKPLACE, OR COMMUNITY.
Assessment and treatment of physical, cognitive, and socioemotional barriers can occur in the comfort of your own home, community, workplace, or my office located in Little Italy, Ottawa. I also offer Telehealth Services through a secure user friendly platform that complies with PHIPA/PIPEDA requirements.
Occupational Therapy Services are often covered by third-party providers including Short Term/Long Term Disability Insurers, Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), Employers, and Blue Cross for Canadian Veterans. I have experience working with clients sponsored by third party payors including direct billing. I am a registered Health Service Provider with Medavie Blue Cross and Telus Health Solutions. Although some Health Insurance Plans cover OT services, I encourage you to confirm coverage with your provider.

With over 10 years of clinical experience in physical and mental health combined with a commitment to clinical education and training including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) in Rehabilitation, CBT for Insomnia, Exposure Therapy for PTSD, Cognitive Rehabilitation, and Concussion Management, I help individuals achieve occupational balance in their life roles in the face of physical, mental, and chronic health conditions such as depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, burnout, post concussion syndrome, chronic pain, and fatigue.
As an Occupational Therapist and working mom of three young children, I understand the challenges of balancing normal daily demands with unexpected medical or life stressors and the importance of enjoyable and gratifying experiences in working towards wellness.
Update on Treatment Services
covid-19
The well-being of my clients is of the utmost importance to me. During the COVID-19 pandemic, treatment services are provided through telehealth. I am following guidelines for telepractice set by the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. Telehealth is offered by telephone or through my secure PHIPA and PIPEDA compliant video platform.
When deemed necessary, in-person services are available and meet the operational requirements of the Ontario Ministry of Health. To ensure your health and safety, enhanced measures and protocols will be reviewed with you prior to your in-person appointment.
As COVID-19 evolves, risk management and clinical processes for OT treatment services will be reviewed continuously as new guidance from all levels of government is received.

Class sizes are kept small with a maximum of 4-6 practitioners (depending on the course) to optimize the hands-on practice and ensure ample absorption of the course content. The instructors take their time, moving with the pace of the class instead of rushing through the material. Courses are offered for healthcare practitioners at any level of experience – from those completely new to the field to those looking to build on prior experience.
